Delete Your Fluo Account

This page explains how to delete your Fluo account (the Fluo language-learning app, operated by Fluo Inc.) and the personal data associated with it. You can delete your account directly inside the Fluo app, or, if you have uninstalled Fluo, request deletion by email.

1. Delete Your Account in the Fluo App

The fastest way to delete your account is from within the Fluo app:

  1. Open the Fluo app and go to your Profile.
  2. Tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm when prompted.

Your account and associated data are deleted immediately and permanently. This action cannot be undone.

2. Request Deletion by Email

If you have already uninstalled Fluo and cannot use the in-app option, you can request account deletion by email. Send a message to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request", sent from the email address tied to your Fluo account so we can verify your identity. We process deletion requests within 30 days.

3. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your Fluo account, we delete or anonymize the following:

  • Your account and login credentials
  • Your profile information
  • Your learning progress, spaced-repetition data, and statistics
  • Your saved words and vocabulary
  • Your video viewing history, ratings, and interaction data
  • Your translation history and AI tutor history
  • Videos you added from your own device
  • Your analytics profile and its events held by our analytics provider
  • Other personal data associated with your account

Feedback posts and comments you made on the in-app feedback board stay visible but are anonymized: your name and the link to your account are removed. If you accepted a creator agreement, the record of that acceptance is retained as a legal record.

Consistent with our Privacy Policy, your personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days. We retain limited information only where required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
